CLASS SCHEDULE

Session begins on April 8, 2008 for the Regular Program, April 8, 2008 for the Accelerated Program, April 11, 2008 for the Friday Program, April 12, 2008 for the Saturday Intensive Program, and April 12, 2008 for the Childrens' Program.

Registration will end on the 18th of April, but late registration will run until the 25th of April 2008.

The Haitian-American Institute functions every day except Sunday. Our doors are open at 6:00 in the morning. We have four different programs: the Regular and Accelerated Programs from Monday to Thursday, the Friday Program, and the Saturday Intensive Program. There is also the Childrens' Program.

Regular Program
The course spans 11 weeks, there is class four hours a week for a total of 44 class hours.
Classes begin at 6:50 A.M. and end at 6:00 P.M.and last 55 minutes each. Program is completed in 2 years

Hours:
6:50 to 7:45 A.M.
7:50 to 8:45 A.M.
9:10 to 10:05 A.M.
10:10 to 11:05 A.M.
11:10 to 12:05 P.M.

Lunch break for everybody

12:50 to 1:45 P.M.
1:50 to 2:45 P.M.
2:50 to 3:45 P.M.
4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
5:00 to 6:00 P.M.

Accelerated Course
The course spans 11 weeks, there is class eight hours a week for a total of 88 class hours, which enable one to complete the program in half the time of the Regular Program.

Hours:
10:10 A.M. to 12:05 P.M.
4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Friday Program
This program is designed for people who really do not have time to come to the Institute four days a week. It spans 11 weeks and also totals 44 class hours. Program is completed in 2 years.

Hours:
Morning--8:30 a.m. to 12:30 P.M.
Afternoon--1:30 to 5:30 P.M.Hours:

Saturday Program
This program is designed for the professionals who work during the week. It spans 11 weeks and totals 44 class hours. Program is completed in 1 year.

Hours:
Morning--8:30 a.m. to 12:30 P.M
Afternoon--1:30 to 5:30 P.M.. :

The Childrens' Program
This program is designed for young people between the ages of 10 and 16. It also spans 11 weeks, except in the Summer.

Hours:
Saturday Morning 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Summertime: weekdays 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.


After completing the normal "Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels" the students need to complete three advanced classes to obtain a Certificate of Completion of the Program "English as a Foreign Language".

Tuition:
Tuition for the Regular Program is US $60.00 per session.
Tuition for the Accelerated Program is US $120 per session.
The Friday Program is US $70.00 per session.
The Saturday Program is US $85.00 per session.
The Childrens' Program is US $100 per session.
